Service Charge Accountant / BookkeeperLocation: East Hertfordshire Salary: £35,000 to £45,000 DOE Sector: Property Management Employment Type: Full-time and Permanent - Immediate Start Available Overview An established Property Management company in East Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Service Charge Accountant / Bookkeeper to support the financial management of a residential block portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing year-end accounts, managing ledgers, producing budgets and ensuring financial compliance across the portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare year-end service charge accounts and liaise with external accountantsManage income and expenditure ledgers, accruals and prepaymentsProduce service charge budgets and financial forecastsComplete bank reconciliations and monitor cashflowProcess supplier invoices, payments and contractor queriesRespond to leaseholder account queries in a professional mannerSupport Property Managers with financial reporting and portfolio updatesEnsure all financial records comply with RICS and ARMA guidelinesExperience and Skills RequiredStrong background in Service Charge Accounting or Property AccountsIn-depth working knowledge of Qube (essential)Experience using Sage (highly desirable)Confident preparing year-end accounts and service charge budgetsHigh level of accuracy and attention to detailStrong communication skills and ability to work collaborativelyOrganised, proactive and able to manage a busy ..... full job details .....
