Service Charge Accountant

Part-Time Property / Service Charge Accountant Location: Hampstead, LondonWorking Pattern: Approximately 3 Days Per WeekSalary: £24,000 - £30,000 per annum About the Role An established and respected independent estate agency in Hampstead is seeking an experienced Property / Service Charge Accountant to join the business in a newly created position. Supporting both the Property Management and Block Management teams, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting functions while contributing to the continued growth and development of the business. Key Responsibilities Preparation of annual service charge accounts Production and management of service charge budgets Client account reconciliations Processing and raising invoices Managing accruals and prepayments Monitoring arrears and producing financial reports Liaising with external accountants and auditors Providing financial support and guidance to Property Managers and Block Managers Assisting with the preparation of financial information and reports as required Reviewing, improving, and streamlining existing accounting processes and procedures Ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and industry requirements About You To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience within property accounting and be comfortable working independently in a part-time capacity.
