Service Charge Accountant

We are working with a highly successful property management company who are seeking an experienced Service Charge Accountant to join their team in a sole-charge capacity, taking full ownership of the service charge accounting function across a varied property portfolio. You will manage a varied property portfolio and work closely with property managers, clients and tenants, taking ownership of the service charge accounting process. The role offers generous holidays and onsite parking. Key Responsibilities: Preparing service charge budgets and year-end accounts Reconciliations, accruals and prepayments Managing sinking/reserve funds and major works Preparing service charge demands and maintaining accurate accounts Handling client and tenant queries Financial reporting and bank reconciliations Review supplier invoices and code expenditure accurately Produce financial reports for property managers and clients Key Requirements: 4-5+ years'' property management experience Hands-on Qube MRI experience - Essential Strong service charge accounting background Good Excel skills and excellent attention to detail Confident dealing with clients and tenants Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage deadlines independently If you have strong Qube MRI and service charge accounting experience and are looking for your next opportunity within a successful property business, we''d love to hear from you.
