Service Architect Location: Barrow-in-Furness, Cumbria, Working arrangement: Hybrid, with on-site working likely as part of project delivery; exact arrangement to be discussed at interview Contract length: April 2027, with possible extension Rate: £650 INSIDE Security: Active MOD SC clearance required, with at least three months remaining to allow for interview, offer and clearance transfer Additional security eligibility specified for the role: Sole UK national, with no dual nationality, and must not have spent more than 28 consecutive days outside the UK during the last five years Your new company You will be working on a Service Architecture assignment supporting a large-scale environment where security, governance and effective transition into live IT operations are key requirements. Your new role As a Service Architect, you will design and define end-to-end IT service solutions that meet business requirements and organisational standards.You will ensure services are scalable, secure and capable of being delivered within agreed SLAs, while integrating effectively with existing processes and technologies. Key responsibilities Develop service architectures covering infrastructure, applications and operational processes. Work with stakeholders to capture functional and non-functional requirements for new or modified services.
