The Role
We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused Service & Support Engineer to join a well-established business with an outstanding culture, excellent employee retention, and a team of long-serving, experienced professionals.

The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting customers, servicing equipment, and taking responsibility for the day-to-day organisation and running of the workshop.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, and repair work at customer sites
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers, both on-site and remotely
- Take ownership of workshop activities, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to a high standard
- Manage workshop priorities and coordinate repairs to meet customer expectations
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
- Prepare equipment for installation, commissioning, and customer delivery
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Build strong relationships with customers through professional and responsive support
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health, safety, and quality standards
Essential Experience & Skills
- Previous experience in a Service Engineer or Maintenance Engineer
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding skills
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload effectively
- Experience servicing, repairing, and maintaining industrial equipment or machinery
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- A practical, hands-on approach with strong problem-solving abilities
- Organised and capable of taking ownership of workshop operations
- Full UK driving licence
