Position: Service and Support EngineerLocation: Field-based - England and WalesSalary: Up to 21 per hour, dependent on experienceHours: 45+ hours per weekBenefits: Company vehicle, laptop, uniform, pension, overtime at 1.5x and 30 per overnight stayBennett and Game are currently partnering with a specialist client within process and packaging machinery, including robotic automation. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Service and Support Engineer to join their team.This is a field-based position involving programming, servicing, repairs and fault-finding on automated machinery at customer sites. You will also provide remote technical support and diagnose control system issues.Travel across England and Wales is required, with regular overnight stays as needed.Service and Support Engineer RequirementsStrong Siemens PLC programming experience, ideally S7-1200.ABB robot programming experience, particularly IRC5.Practical electrical and mechanical engineering skills.Experience fault-finding, servicing and repairing industrial machinery.Ability to provide remote technical support and online diagnostics.Good communication and problem-solving skills.Willingness to travel and stay away overnight.Desirable: Siemens or Weintek HMI programming experience, relevant engineering qualifications and accredited PLC or robotics training.Service and Support Engineer PackageUp to 21 per hour, depending on experience.Overtime paid at 1.5x for hours worked above 45 per week. 30 ..... full job details .....
