Service Advisor

We are currently seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join a reputable dealership located in Walton on Thames. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to enhance their career within a professional, customer-focused environment. Our client is open to applications from both experienced Service Advisors and Trainee Service Advisors who possess a solid understanding of the Motor Trade.

Benefits:

• Competitive basic salary of -32,000 per annum, with an achievable bonus of up to -6,000
• OTE of approximately -38,000 annually
• Working hours Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 5:30pm, with 1 in 3 Saturdays on a rota basis paid as overtime
• 23 days holiday plus bank holidays

Duties:

• Manage customer bookings and vehicle repair processes efficiently to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
• Conduct vehicle health checks and communicate findings clearly to customers
• Process customer orders and returns accurately and promptly
• Answer customer calls, providing excellent service and technical advice
• Log and report stock discrepancies to the Parts Manager
• Complete administrative duties accurately and within set deadlines
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, managing expectations professionally

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or as a customer-focused Parts Sales Advisor within a franchised dealership or independent garage
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service
• Practical knowledge of computer software systems such as Kerridge and RTC
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Organised, detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask effectively
• A valid UK driving licence is preferred
• A proactive, professional attitude with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
