Service Advisor

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of Service Advisor at their well-established automotive dealership in Grays, Essex. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to further their career within a reputable and customer-focused environment. The Service Advisor will be responsible for providing outstanding service, managing customer relations, and supporting dealership operations efficiently.

• Competitive basic salary of -30,000 per annum

Duties of the-Service Advisor:

• Professionally greet customers and understand their vehicle service needs
• Manage service scheduling and coordinate with technicians to ensure workflow efficiency
• Upsell service plans and additional repairs appropriately
• Maximise sales through customer engagement and product promotion
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service details
• Drive customer satisfaction scores by delivering high-quality service
• Keep up-to-date with manufacturer protocols and workshop procedures

Requirements of the Service Advisor:

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the motor trade
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of dealership management systems such as CDK, ADB, or Keyloop
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet targets
• Organised, professional, and highly motivated to succeed
