Service Advisor

We are currently seeking an experienced and professional Service Advisor to join a well-established automotive dealership located in Grays, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled individual-to develop their career within a reputable team, providing outstanding customer service and supporting dealership operations.

The successful Service Advisor will benefit from a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package, including:

• Basic salary of -27,000 per annum
• On-target earnings of up to -38,000 per year
• Monthly bonus based on labour sales and service plans
• Quarterly bonus related to CSI performance
• Drive on modern systems such as CDK, ADB, and Keyloop
• Life assurance and staff discounts on purchasing and servicing
• Additional earnings of -15 per service plan as part of CSI incentives

Duties of the Service Advisor include:

• Greeting customers professionally and understanding their vehicle service needs
• Managing service scheduling and liaising with technicians to ensure smooth workflow
• Upselling service plans and additional repairs where appropriate
• Maximising sales through effective customer engagement and product promotion
• Maintaining accurate documentation of customer interactions and service details
• Driving customer satisfaction scores and ensuring high service quality standards
• Staying informed on manufacturer protocols and workshop procedures

Requirements for the Service Advisor role:

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the motor trade
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Knowledge of dealership management systems such as CDK, ADB, or Keyloop
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet targets
• Organised, professional, and motivated to succeed
