Service Advisor Job Type: Full-time Salary: £28,500 Bonus available and OTE to £38,500 per year Hours: 8-6 Mon-Fri and 1 in 4 Saturdays Location: Oldham, In Person Experience of working in a car dealership is essential Mpeople Recruitment are looking for an experienced and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our clients busy team based in Oldham. As the first point of contact for customers, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent customer experience by managing service bookings, coordinating repair work, and keeping customers informed throughout the process. Key Responsibilities Book and schedule service and repair appointments. Prepare accurate estimates and invoices for completed work. Keep customers updated on the progress of their vehicle, including completion times and any unexpected delays. Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries. Liaise with technicians to ensure work is completed efficiently and communicate any additional work required. Contact customers to explain recommended repairs and obtain approval before work is carried out. Identify opportunities to promote additional products and services where appropriate. Ensure all paperwork and administrative tasks are completed accurately. Contribute to a positive customer experience while supporting the overall performance of the service department.
