SERVICE ADVISOR
Location: Walton-on-Thames
Salary: £32,000 Basic + Bonus
Hours: 42 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:30pm + Saturday 8:00am-12:30pm on a rota

THE ROLE
As a Service Advisor, you''ll be the key link between customers and the workshop, ensuring every customer receives a professional and efficient experience from initial contact through to vehicle collection.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Welcoming and assisting customers
·Managing customer enquiries by phone and in person
·Booking vehicles into the workshop
·Completing vehicle health checks
·Keeping customers updated throughout the repair process
·Liaising closely with technicians and workshop colleagues
·Identifying additional work and communicating recommendations to customers
·Processing orders accurately and efficiently
·Ensuring customer requirements are dealt with promptly
·Maintaining accurate administrative records
·Providing excellent customer service throughout the entire process
·Working towards department targets and productivity requirements
·Supporting the wider aftersales team when required
 
ABOUT YOU
We''re looking for someone who has:
·Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar automotive customer-facing role
·Excellent customer service and communication skills
·Good knowledge of computer systems
·Strong organisational and administrative skills
·The ability to manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
·A confident and professional manner
·Good attention to detail
·The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
·A proactive approach to customer service
·A full UK driving licence would be advantageous
Automotive/dealership experience is preferred, particularly where you''ve worked closely with workshop teams and customers, but the key requirement is the ability to deliver a consistently high level of customer service.
