The main focus of the role will be contacting customers from an existing database to arrange vehicle servicing appointments and maximise workshop bookings. You''ll also occasionally cover the Service Advisor desks during busy periods and colleagues'' meal breaks, making this a varied, customer-facing position with opportunities to earn additional bonuses through up-selling.

The Role
As a Service Administrator, your primary responsibility will be proactively contacting existing customers to arrange servicing appointments and maintain a strong workshop booking schedule.
Your responsibilities will include:
·Calling customers from the existing database to remind them when their vehicles are due for servicing.
·Booking service appointments and maintaining an organised workshop diary.
·Following up outstanding enquiries and maximising booking opportunities.
·Identifying appropriate upselling opportunities to generate additional revenue and bonus earnings.
·Updating customer records and ensuring all information is accurate.
·Handling incoming telephone calls and responding to customer enquiries professionally.
·Providing occasional cover at the Service Advisor desks during busy periods and meal breaks.
·Assisting customers with service-related queries and appointment requirements.
·Supporting Service Advisors with general administration and day-to-day aftersales duties.
·Working closely with the wider team to deliver excellent customer service and maintain an efficient department.

About You
To be considered for this Service Administrator position, you''ll ideally have:
·Previous experience in an administrative, customer service or telephone-based role.
·A confident telephone manner and excellent communication skills.
·A proactive approach to outbound calling, customer follow-ups and identifying sales opportunities.
·Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
·Good IT skills and the ability to maintain accurate customer records.
·A professional, friendly and customer-focused attitude.
·The ability to manage workloads effectively in a busy environment.
·A flexible approach and willingness to provide occasional Service Advisor cover.
·A commercial mindset with the confidence to identify appropriate up-selling opportunities.
Previous experience within an automotive dealership, service department or vehicle servicing environment would be advantageous but is not essential for the right candidate.
