Service Accountant (Temporary)Location: Banbury AreaPay Rate: 18.00 per hour DOEHours: Full Time, Monday to Friday (8:00am to 5:00pm or 9:00am to 6:00pm)Flexible start and finish times may be considered for the right candidate.Temporary Service Accountant RequiredWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Service Accountant to join a well-established organisation on a temporary basis. This position has arisen due to long-term sickness absence and is initially expected to last around one month, although there is strong potential for the assignment to continue considerably longer.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced finance professional who is available at short notice and looking for a varied accounting role within a supportive team environment.Key ResponsibilitiesCompleting balance sheet reconciliationsPreparing and submitting VAT returnsFinancial processing and transaction managementAssisting with month-end activitiesInvestigating and resolving financial discrepanciesSupporting budget monitoring and reportingMaintaining accurate financial recordsProviding general accounting support to the wider finance team Candidate RequirementsPrevious experience in a Service Accountant, Management Accountant or similar finance positionStrong reconciliation experienceKnowledge of VAT regulations and return preparationExcellent financial processing skillsStrong attention to detail and accuracyProficient in Microsoft Excel and finance systemsAbility to manage workload ..... full job details .....
