Supply SEN/SEMH Teaching Assistant

Are you passionate about supporting children and young people and looking for a rewarding role where every day is different?

We are looking for-Supply Teaching Assistants-to work across-SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) and SEN settings, supporting pupils who may need additional help with their learning, behaviour, emotional wellbeing and confidence.

You do-not necessarily need previous experience working in a school. We welcome applicants who have developed valuable transferable skills through other roles and life experiences.

Your experience could include:

• Working as a-care worker or support worker, particularly supporting vulnerable individuals.

• Previous experience within the-armed forces, where skills such as discipline, resilience, teamwork and maintaining calm under pressure are highly transferable.

• Working with-vulnerable children or young people, including residential, youth or community settings.

• Experience supporting individuals with additional needs, challenging behaviour or complex circumstances.

• Any role where you have demonstrated-patience, empathy, resilience and strong communication skills.

The role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside teaching staff to help create a safe, supportive and positive environment for pupils. Your responsibilities may include supporting learning, encouraging positive behaviour, building trusting relationships and helping pupils to develop their confidence and independence.
