Job Title: Senior/Principal Transport Planning Consultant Location: Godalming, Surrey Salary: £45-55,000 Penguin Recruitment are working with a growing and well-established multidisciplinary consultancy who are looking to appoint a Principal Transport Planning Consultant to join their expanding Transport Planning team in Godalming. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Transport Planner to take a leading technical role within a growing consultancy, working on a diverse portfolio of development planning projects across the residential, commercial, education, healthcare, industrial and mixed-use sectors throughout the UK. The Role: Lead and manage a varied portfolio of development planning projects across the UK Prepare, review and oversee Transport Assessments, Transport Statements, Travel Plans, Technical Notes and Access Appraisals Undertake and review junction capacity assessments using Junctions 11, including PICADY and ARCADY, and LinSig Provide technical advice to clients from initial feasibility through to planning determination and post-consent support Liaise with Local Planning Authorities, Highway Authorities, statutory consultees and multidisciplinary project teams Mentor and support Graduate and Consultant-level Transport Planners Undertake technical reviews and maintain high standards across project delivery Maintain a strong understanding of current national and local transport planning policy and guidance Contribute to fee proposals, project ..... full job details .....
