I am working with a well-established, design-led consultancy in Manchester that is looking to appoint a Senior / Principal Structural Engineer to support continued growth across a diverse project portfolio.

The Role
As a key member of the structural engineering team, you will take a lead role in the design and delivery of projects from concept through to completion. Depending on your level, you will also contribute to project leadership, client engagement, and mentoring junior engineers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading structural design on a range of building projects
- Preparing and reviewing calculations, drawings, and specifications
- Coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, architects, and contractors
- Attending client meetings and contributing to project strategy
- Supporting the development of junior staff
About You
- Degree-qualified in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered (CEng) or close to achieving chartership
- Strong experience delivering building structures projects in the UK
- Proficient in relevant design software (e.g. Tekla, Tedds, Robot, or similar)
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills
- A proactive, solution-focused approach
