An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Ecologist to join a respected, award-winning environmental consultancy through a specialist recruitment partner. With over 35 years of experience, the business delivers landscape architecture, ecology, arboriculture and biodiversity services on a wide range of residential, commercial and infrastructure projects. The successful Senior Ecologist will be based in Cambridge, working within a collaborative team that values innovation, sustainability and professional development.

As a Senior Ecologist, you will lead ecological projects, undertake surveys, produce technical reports, manage client relationships, mentor junior team members and contribute to delivering high-quality environmental solutions across a diverse project portfolio.

Requirements:

• Experience working as a Senior Ecologist or in a similar ecological consultancy role
• Strong knowledge of UK protected species, habitats and planning legislation
• Excellent report writing and project management skills
• Full UK driving licence
• Full right to work in the UK
• Living in or within a commutable distance of the Cambridge office
• Membership of CIEEM or working towards chartership is advantageous
