Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer

Our client, a leading consultancy in the engineering sector, is currently seeking a Senior/Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join their team. This permanent role offers a fantastic opportunity for a Chartered Geotechnical Engineer or a Civil Engineer with significant geotechnical experience to take technical responsibility for the delivery of geotechnical projects, whilst reporting directly to senior management. This position is ideal for an experienced Geotechnical or Civil Engineer, capable of managing geotechnical assessments and designs, and aspiring to further professional development.Key Responsibilities:Taking technical responsibility for the delivery of geotechnical projectsManaging and supervising ground investigationsDeveloping ground models and geotechnical site characterisationsPerforming geotechnical analysis and numerical modellingDesigning geotechnical structures including foundations and retaining wallsConducting slope stability assessments and rockfall hazard analysesEnsuring compliance with Eurocodes and British StandardsReporting on project progress to senior managementJob Requirements:Degree in Geotechnical Engineering, Geology, Geophysics, or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical specialism (or a related discipline)Experience in geotechnical designSeismic/earthquake design experienceChartered member of an appropriate professional institutionExtensive experience in managing and supervising ground investigationsProficiency in geotechnical analysis and ..... full job details .....
