Lead / Senior Designer Glazing and Curtain Walling Location: Erith, LondonSalary: £56,000 £63,000Working Pattern: 4 days per week in the officeType: PermanentAbout the Role Our client is looking for an experienced Lead / Senior Designer to join their design team based in Erith. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced glazing or curtain walling designer who is looking to take the next step in their career, with a clear pathway into design management.You will take a leading role in the design and technical delivery of glazing and aluminium packages, working closely with project teams, clients, architects, suppliers and subcontractors.Key Responsibilities Lead the design and technical delivery of glazing packagesProduce detailed drawings and technical design informationWork with aluminium systems including Aluprof and SchücoReview architectural drawings, specifications and project requirementsCoordinate designs with project, commercial and site teamsLiaise with clients, architects, suppliers and subcontractorsIdentify and resolve technical design issuesSupport and mentor more junior members of the design teamEnsure designs meet project, technical and regulatory requirementsAssist with design development from concept through to constructionTake increasing responsibility for design coordination and team leadership Requirements Strong experience as a Senior or Lead Designer within glazing, curtain walling or aluminium façadesStrong knowledge of glazing and aluminium ..... full job details .....
