Senior/Estimator

The Company: We are working with a well-established, family-owned building contractor. They specialise in Residential, Education and Commercial schemes from £500k - £15m. Primarily their client base is a mixture of public sector clients and registered providers across the North West. As a family run business, their staff well-being is at the core of their decision making. People are valued and there is on-going support and development to promote progression from within. The vast majority of their work is with existing clients, the supply chain is paid on term and they prioritise stable, profitable business opposed to a growing turnover. The Role: They are now in a position to add to their Estimating team; they ve asked us to source an experienced Estimator/Senior who can support their pre-con lead whilst also aiding in the development of their junior team members. You ll play a pivotal role in their success, producing high quality, accurate estimates without being under immense pressure to win work at any cost! General responsibilities will include the following; Working within the estimating department to produce high quality, accurate estimates. Pricing from first principles and sub-contractor quotation comparisons, presented in a legible, analytical and logical format for both new build and refurbishment projects.
