A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy is looking for an Associate Structural Engineer to join its established Central London team.
The successful Associate Structural Engineer will take a leading role across a diverse portfolio of projects, working closely with clients, architects and other disciplines from concept through to delivery. Alongside technical responsibility, you'll play an important part in developing junior engineers, managing client relationships and supporting the continued growth of the structural team.
We Are Looking For An Associate Structural Engineer Who:

• Is Chartered with either the IStructE or ICE, or working at an equivalent level;
• Has strong experience delivering structural engineering projects within a UK consultancy environment;
• Has experience leading multidisciplinary projects from concept through to completion;
• Is confident managing client and architect relationships;
• Has experience mentoring and developing junior engineers;
• Has a strong technical understanding of common structural materials including steel, concrete, masonry and timber;
• Is commercially aware and comfortable managing project resources, programmes and fees;
• Has the right to work in the UK;
• Is willing to commute into Central London on a hybrid basis.

As The Successful Associate Structural Engineer, You Will:

• Lead the structural delivery of complex projects across a variety of sectors;
• Act as a key point of contact for clients, architects and external design teams;
• Manage project teams and oversee the work of engineers and technicians;
• Provide technical guidance and mentor-ship to junior members of the team;
• Take responsibility for project programmes, resources and commercial performance;
• Contribute towards bids, proposals and new business opportunities;
• Help develop existing client relationships and build new ones;
• Play an active role in the continued growth and development of the structural engineering team.
