Senior/Associate Building Surveyor

I''m working with an excellent multidisciplinary construction consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior or Associate Building Surveyor to join its growing Exeter office.

You''ll work across a varied portfolio of projects and professional Building Surveying instructions, building strong relationships with clients and taking responsibility for delivering high-quality advice.
Depending on your experience and level, you''ll have the opportunity to:

• Deliver a broad range of professional and project Building Surveying services
• Undertake building surveys, condition surveys and defect analysis
• Prepare specifications and oversee refurbishment, repair and improvement projects
• Provide contract administration and project delivery services
• Advise clients on dilapidations, party wall matters and other professional instructions
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships
• Support business development and help grow the Building Surveying offering across the South West
• Mentor and support more junior members of the team
• Take on increasing responsibility as the Exeter operation continues to expand

You''ll ideally be an experienced Senior or Associate Building Surveyor from a consultancy or similar client-facing environment.

You should have:

• A degree in Building Surveying or a related discipline
• MRICS status ideally, or strong progress towards Chartership
• Broad Building Surveying experience across professional and/or project work
• Strong client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• The confidence to manage your own workload and client relationships
• An interest in being part of a growing regional team and contributing to its future success
