Senior Warehouse Operative / Team Leader - Permanent - Farnham

TeamJobs are recruiting a Senior Warehouse Operative / Team Leader to join a well-established company on a permanent contract.

This is a hands-on warehouse role with additional responsibility for leading the team and supporting the day-to-day running of the warehouse.

Working hours:

• Monday to Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm

• 40 hours per week

Salary:

• -31,000 - -32,000 per annum

• -14.90 - -15.38 per hour

The Role:

• Leading the morning team huddle and organising the day''s workload

• Supporting and directing the warehouse team throughout the day

• Coordinating goods in and monitoring expected deliveries

• Ensuring goods are accurately received, recorded and put away

• Making sure warehouse documentation is completed accurately and in real time

• Monitoring health & safety and reporting any hazards or damages

• Completing cycle counts, stock checks and monitoring consumables

• Ensuring FIFO processes are followed

• Monitoring warehouse space and pallet utilisation

• Reporting on team performance and any issues throughout the day

• Attending daily operational meetings and leading these when required

• Supporting FLT maintenance, charging and cleanliness

• Working hands-on alongside the warehouse team with general warehouse duties

What We''re Looking For:

• Previous warehouse experience

• Previous experience as a Senior Warehouse Operative, Team Leader or similar

• Confident leading and supporting a small team

• Good knowledge of goods in, stock control and warehouse processes

• Strong health & safety awareness

• Good attention to detail and organisation

• Confident communicating with both the team and management

• Hands-on approach and happy to get stuck in with the team
