  • Booking shipments with approved couriers, carriers and freight forwarders, producing clear labels and shipping instructions.
  • Packing and preparing goods for export while maintaining product integrity, traceability and safe working practices.
  • Spotting compliance risks early, including licences, end-user checks, sanctions screening, dangerous goods and missing approvals.
  • Resolving customs queries, documentation issues, delays and delivery exceptions with customers, couriers and internal teams.
  • Keeping shipment, tracking and export records accurate in internal systems and supporting the wider Operations team when priorities shift.

What you’ll bring:

  • Proven export, international shipping, freight forwarding or customs experience.
  • Strong UK export knowledge, including customs paperwork, Incoterms, HS/commodity codes, country of origin, EORI, values, weights and shipment details.

  • Sharp attention to detail, great organisation and a calm approach when priorities change.
  • Clear communication with customers, couriers, freight forwarders and internal teams.
  • Good Outlook and Microsoft Office skills, plus confidence learning internal systems and carrier/customs platforms.

You’ll thrive here if you are

  • Hands-on, organised and confident taking ownership of the detail.
  • Customer-focused, collaborative and comfortable working at pace.
  • Happy to complete and maintain procedure-based training and refresher training.

The package
