Senior FLT Warehouse Operative
Location: Bootle, L20
Pay: -14.00 - -15.50
Shifts: 7am-3pm / 3pm-11pm / 11pm-7am (occasionally) rotating
Days: Monday-Friday

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Warehouse Operative with FLT who would like an opportunity and a career progression pathway into Team Leader and Management positions. Joining a busy warehouse and distribution operation based in Bootle This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who is looking to develop their career, with a clear progression plan to move into a Team Leader position and become part of the warehouse management team.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating a Counterbalance FLT safely and efficiently
• Using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage stock movements and inventory accuracy
• Loading and unloading vehicles
• Moving stock and materials throughout the warehouse
• Supporting goods-in, goods-out and stock control processes
• Assisting with inventory checks and cycle counts
• Providing day-to-day support and guidance to warehouse operatives
• Helping to maintain high standards of productivity, accuracy and health & safety
• Assisting supervisors and management with operational requirements
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
• Training to become part of the management team

Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance FLT licence (RTITB, ITSSAR or equivalent)
• Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations and stock control procedures
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
• Ability to lead by example and support colleagues when required
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
• Ambition to progress into a leadership role
