Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager - 12-Month FTC

A globally recognised engineering company is looking for a Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager to lead and manage all warehouse and logistics operations - including goods-in, inventory control, material handling, shipping, and dispatch - on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain, you will provide strategic and operational leadership to a team of five direct reports and approximately 50-60 indirect team members across warehousing, transportation, logistics, and inventory management functions.

This role offers a salary of -70,000, plus a -6,600 car allowance and a 10% bonus.

• Lead, coach, and develop the warehouse and logistics leadership team, setting KPIs and managing training plans

• Take ownership of all goods-in, storage, and outbound shipping operations to customers and subcontractors

• Oversee internal logistics processes and evaluate warehouse layout and material flow for optimisation

• Manage 3PL partnerships, including budgets, performance, and compliance with relevant legislation

• Drive continuous improvement in inventory management - including cycle counting, stock accuracy, profiling, and picking processes

• Support wider business initiatives to increase automation and improve MRP, ERP, and WMS utilisation

• Proven experience in a senior Warehouse, Supply Chain or Logistics Management role

• Background in manufacturing, engineering, aerospace, FMCG, defence, pharma, or other regulated environments is highly desirable

• Proficient in using logistics and supply chain systems - MRP, ERP, WMS

• Strong leadership capabilities with experience managing large, multi-disciplinary teams

• Comfortable working on a 12-month fixed-term contract basis
