Senior Veterinary Surgeon - Small Animal at Lakeside Vets, Llansamlet. Salary up to £70,000 DOE. Flexible hours with no out-of-hours requirements. This is a leadership role working with the Practice Manager and Clinical Director to guide the direction of the practice and nurture the clinical team. The practice is a host for Vets Now, offering trusted out-of-hours support.We are looking for a passionate and supportive Senior Veterinary Surgeon who is interested in contributing to high standards, clinical decision-making, and shaping the future of the practice. This is a growth-focused recruitment as the practice expands.Location: Llansamlet, Swansea (5 minutes from junctions 43 and 44 of the M4), with a varied caseload through routine appointments and critical cases via Vets Now.Responsibilities

Guide the direction of the practice in collaboration with the Practice Manager and Clinical Director.Support the clinical team in driving high standards and contribute to clinical decision-making.Collaborate within a growing, supportive team to ensure quality patient care and smooth operational flow.Participate in a shared weekend rota and flexible working arrangements to accommodate part-time schedules.Working Hours

5 days, 8 hours per day, or 4 days, 10 hours per day (Mon–Fri).Part-time hours available.Requirement to work 1 in 3 Saturdays from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, with time off in lieu during the week.Benefits and Team Environment
