Senior Vehicle TechnicianLocation: Carlisle, CumbriaJob Type: Full-Time, PermanentSalary: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum (DOE) + Bonus + Overtime + £2,000 Sign-On BonusThe OpportunityAn established and highly respected family-run automotive retailer is seeking an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join its busy Aftersales and Service department in Carlisle.This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technician looking to join a supportive, professional team with strong manufacturer backing, ongoing training opportunities, and genuine career progression.Working Hours Monday to Friday: 8:15am - 5:00pmEvery other Saturday morning (rota basis): 8:15am - 12:30pm Key Responsibilities Perform diagnostics, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of vehicles.Complete vehicle health checks and associated documentation accurately.Identify faults efficiently using diagnostic equipment and technical knowledge.Maintain high standards of workmanship and compliance with manufacturer and safety standards.Work closely with Service Advisors to ensure excellent customer communication and service.Support and mentor junior technicians where appropriate.Contribute positively to a collaborative workshop environment.
