Senior Vehicle Technician

Senior Vehicle Technician

Prestiwch £40,000–£45,000 Basic Salary + Performance-Related Bonus

Monday to Friday | No Weekends | Workshop-Based

Love fixing vehicles rather than just servicing them?

If you''re an experienced Vehicle Technician who enjoys diagnosing faults, tackling challenging mechanical repairs and getting stuck into the jobs that really test your skills, this opportunity deserves your attention.

I''m recruiting on behalf of an established automotive business in Bury for a capable, hands-on Vehicle Technician to join its workshop team.

This isn''t your typical servicing role.

The business has a dedicated mobile servicing operation, meaning the workshop concentrates on vehicles requiring more involved mechanical repairs, diagnostics and ramp-based work.

What''s on offer?

• £40,000–£45,000 basic salary, dependent on experience

• Additional performance-related bonus

• Monday to Friday working

• No weekend working

• Workshop-based position

• Varied mechanical and diagnostic repairs

What we''re looking for

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic

• Strong mechanical fault-finding and repair skills

• Confidence diagnosing and repairing more complex faults

• Experience working on engines, transmissions, steering and suspension

• Relevant automotive qualifications or equivalent practical experience

• The ability to work independently and take pride in getting repairs right

You don''t necessarily need to be a Master Technician. We''re looking for someone who genuinely knows their way around a vehicle and enjoys the mechanical side of the job.

Ready for a role where your technical ability really matters – and your weekends are your own?

Get in touch for a confidential conversation and further details.
