Key responsibilities: Carryout diagnosis and repair of complex mechanical and electrical faults You must have 5 years+ experience of working within the automotive industry, and be able to work on to own initiative and also in a team.Carry our service, diagnostic and repair work, as directed.Inspecting for wear and tear/general faultsCompleting work to DVSA standardsCarry out MOT inspections on vehicles (Desirable)Provide excellent customer service and deliver best practices, synonymous with the luxury manufacturing brand Skills/Experience: IT LiteracyPrevious experience as a Technician: Minimum 5 yearsA valid full UK driving licenseAttention to Detail and AccuracyA relevant formal qualification (City and Guilds / NVQ Level 3 as a minimum - ideally Level 4 trained) is ideal but not essentialSkilled diagnostic and repair vehicle technician. With a proven track record in fault finding. Experienced using serial diagnostic equipment, multimeters and ideally but not essentially use of oscilloscopes for testing.Strong knowledge of electrical, and electronic componentsHave experience across a range of vehicle brands.Ability to work effectively in a team environmentStrong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skillsGood communication skillsACS are recruiting for a Vehicle Technician .
