Senior UX Researcher

Reed Technology is supporting a company based in Edinburgh, as they look to hire a Senior User Experience Researcher. In this role you''ll work alongside a multidisciplinary team to understand user needs, identify opportunities for improvements and ensure services are designed around the people who use them. Key responsibilities: Leading user research across discovery, alpha, beta and live phases. Planning and conducting interviews, usability testing, contextual research and workshops. Working closely with multidisciplinary teams to shape products and services. Synthesising research findings into clear insights and recommendations. Helping teams understand the needs, behaviours and priorities of users. Supporting service design, product and delivery decisions through evidence. Helping develop reusable approaches, patterns and delivery assets that strengthen future projects. Requirements: Solid experience delivering user research within complex digital or service transformation programmes. Experience working as part of multidisciplinary teams. Strong understanding of Government Digital Service principles, service standards and user-centred design practices. Experience planning and delivering a range of qualitative research activities. Strong analysis and synthesis skills, with the ability to turn findings into actionable recommendations. Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Experience working with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior decision makers. ..... full job details .....
