This is a great opportunity for a Senior Utility Surveyor to join a growing, close-knit surveying business where you will take full ownership of the utility division and play a key role in its expansion.
This long-established surveying business delivers high-quality topographical and land surveys across a wide range of sectors, including infrastructure, highways and large-scale development projects. With increasing demand for utility surveys, the business is now looking to bring this capability in-house and build a dedicated function.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering utility surveys from start to finish, including site work, data processing and final presentation to clients. You will act as the technical lead for utilities within the business, with the opportunity to grow the service line and build a team beneath you as workload increases.
With that, the ideal candidate will have strong experience in utility surveying, including GPR surveys and PAS 128 standards, and be confident working independently while maintaining high standards of accuracy and delivery.

The Role:
- Undertaking utility surveys from site to final deliverable
- Carrying out GPR surveys and PAS 128 compliant work
- Processing survey data and producing client-ready outputs
- Managing projects independently from start to finish
- Working across site, home and occasional office visits
- Supporting the growth of the utility division and future team development
The Person:
- Proven experience as a Utility Surveyor
- Strong knowledge of GPR surveys and PAS 128 standards
- Confident working independently and managing projects
- Experience with GPS surveying equipment
- Full UK driving licence and CSCS card
