The studio is one of Dubai''s renowned design studios, known for its design-led, large-scale mixed-use projects across the Middle East, is seeking talented Senior Urban Designer to join their team and relocate to Dubai.All candidates should make sure to read the following job description and information carefully before applying. This is a unique opportunity for a skilled and creative Senior Urban Designer to become the first in this role, at the practice. The successful candidate will help shape and lead the development of the urban design /masterplanning capability within the studio, contributing to major projects and eventually building a team around this function.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and refine urban design strategies with a focus on human-centric and sustainable designLead the design vision with the creative directorCollaborate with architecture teams throughout all project stages, from strategic planning to detailed spatial masterplanningContribute to high-profile public realm, urban design, masterplanning and mixed-use urban re generation development projectsProduce high-quality visual materials including diagrams, sketches, 3D models, and masterplansParticipate in client presentations and project meetings, clearly articulating design intentMaintain design quality and consistency across all phases of workStay up to date with emerging trends, technologies, and sustainable urban strategiesQualifications and ExperienceDegree in Urban Design, Architecture, or Landscape ArchitectureMinimum 7+ years of professional experience in urban design, with a focus on large-scale public realm or mixed-use projectsStrong visual communication skills and proficiency in Rhino, Enscape with some AutoCAD, and RevitExperience in early-stage design strategy and conceptual developmentA clear understanding of how urban spaces function and connect with usersPrior experience in the Middle East or similar regions is a strong advantageThe studio operates on a 5-day in-office working policy. While prior UAE project experience is not required, a clear ambition to produce high-quality work is essential.
