Responsibilities and duties of the Senior UPS Field Service Engineer role Reporting to the Service team you will:Install, commission and test single and three-phase UPS systems.Carry out load-bank testing and site acceptance testing.Complete planned preventative maintenance and remedial repairs on UPS systems.Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on UPS systems and associated electrical infrastructure.Act as a technical escalation point for complex faults and support root cause investigations.Carry out battery maintenance, installation, replacement and testing.Undertake site surveys and complete technical reports.Prepare and follow site-specific risk assessments and method statements.Support the training and development of junior engineers and trainees.Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota once fully trained and authorised.Travel throughout the UK and stay away from home when required.
