Senior Underwriter, Development Finance

Fraser Carver Executive Search are working with a reputable Bridging and Development Finance Lender in central London who are looking for an experienced Senior Development Finance Underwriter to join their Credit team.My client is very well funded with solid institutional funding lines in place and having hired an excellent sales team they are now looking for an experienced Dev Finance underwriters to support the already impressive deal flow. They have extremely ambitious plans for growth over the next couple of years as such this is a great opportunity to get involved at the beginning of their journey Key duties include:Managing the full lending process from application to drawdownAssessing bridging loan applications and analysing creditworthiness of complex casesPreparing detailed credit proposals for Credit CommitteeReviewing valuation reports and due diligence documentationDrafting offer documents and ensuring conditions are satisfied pre-completionLiaising with brokers, solicitors, valuers, surveyors, other lenders and internal teams to progress casesExperience required:Proven track record within Dev Finance underwriting and structured lending - min 5 years +Deep knowledge of structuring Dev Finance dealsStrong understanding of property-based lending, underwriting and risk assessmentExcellent communication and stakeholder management, experience working with C levelAnalytical mindset with the confidence to make informed decisionsA proactive, problem-solving mentality and ..... full job details .....
