An established and growing transport planning consultancy is looking for a Senior Transport Planner to join their Bristol-based team. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in development planning and is ready to take the next step in their career.

 

You’ll play a key role in delivering high-quality transport planning projects, working closely with clients and multidisciplinary teams.

 

The Role

 

- Manage and deliver transport planning projects, including day-to-day coordination of clients and project teams
- Carry out transportation and traffic engineering analysis, including traffic modelling and data interrogation
- Prepare Transport Assessments, Statements, and Travel Plans in line with national standards and best practice
- Contribute to planning-stage highway design solutions for development proposals
- Produce clear technical reports, presentations, and supporting documentation
- Work collaboratively with planners, engineers, and other design disciplines

 

What we’re looking for

 

- Degree in a transport, engineering, geography, mathematics, or related numeric discipline
- Proven experience in development-related transport planning, ideally within a UK consultancy environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Commercial awareness and confidence in providing professional advice to clients
- Experience with TRICS, Junctions 10, and LinSig
