Responsibilities   The position would primarily involve the preparation of transport statements, transport assessments and travel plans to accompany planning applications for private sector clients. The role would also include: ·Providing advice on highway and transport related planning issues, including access strategies and feasibility studies, based on current policy and guidance. ·Preparing preliminary horizontal designs for site access junctions and highway improvements for highway authority approval. ·Ensuring work is delivered to a high technical standard within agreed timescales, working both independently and supporting other team members. ·Developing strong working relationships with clients, design teams (including internal and external multidisciplinary professionals) and highway authorities. Experience   Experience in Transport Planning is essential to the role, as is experience in using relevant software, such as TRICS and Junctions.  Experience using LinSig, GIS, AutoCAD, AutoTr...
