Senior Transmission and Grid Technical Lead Our client is seeking a Senior Transmission and Grid Technical Lead to support the delivery of major power infrastructure programmes. This permanent position combines technical leadership, project management, stakeholder engagement and commercial support across high-voltage transmission and distribution projects.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the delivery of complex transmission and power infrastructure projects.Provide senior technical guidance on grid connection, transmission and substation developments.Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams, ensuring technical quality, programme performance and effective stakeholder engagement.Support business development activities, including bid preparation, tender submissions and client engagement.Provide technical expertise relating to network owner requirements, procurement routes and project delivery models.Review and contribute to engineering designs, technical documentation and project solutions.Support capability growth through mentoring, knowledge sharing and technical leadership.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, network operators and key project stakeholders.RequirementsSignificant experience within the electricity transmission and distribution sector.Strong understanding of high-voltage transmission infrastructure and project delivery.Experience working on major transmission network projects.Familiarity with utility, transmission owner and ..... full job details .....
