Their Design team combines civil engineering rigour with strategic and policy insight to help local authority clients deliver safer, better-used streets. Role Purpose This is a broad, client-facing role covering traffic engineering design, project management across multiple concurrent schemes, and the interpretation of monitoring and survey data to inform design decisions. The successful candidate will also be expected to flex into strategy and policy-facing work as their project portfolio requires. Key Responsibilities Technical design and civil engineering ·Lead and contribute to feasibility and concept design of highways, active travel and traffic schemes, including junction, crossing and cycle route design. ·Apply relevant design standards and guidance (e.g. DMRB, Manual for Streets, LTN 1/20, GG142) to produce technically sound, deliverable designs. ·Use design and analysis software such as AutoCAD, QGIS and vehicle tracking/swept path software...
