Job Title: Town Planner - Private Sector Experience Required (Leeds)

Overview
We are working on behalf of a highly regarded planning consultancy to appoint a talented Town Planner to join their growing Leeds team. The Role
As a Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering a wide range of planning projects across sectors including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. You will be involved in managing planning applications, providing strategic advice to clients, and supporting senior team members on complex schemes.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals
• Providing clear, commercially focused planning advice to clients
• Engaging with local authorities and key stakeholders
• Supporting project delivery from inception through to completion
• Monitoring planning policy and regulatory changes
• Contributing to business development and client relationship management

About You

• MRTPI qualified (or working towards accreditation)
• Proven experience within the private sector is essential
• Strong understanding of the UK planning system
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to problem-solving
