Our client a growing multi-disciplinary consultancy has an excellent opportunity for a Senior Town Planner to join their established team based in Newcastle. The successful Senior Town Planner can expect to work on a wide variety of schemes ranging from residential and mixed use developments through to large scale infrastructure schemes.

Qualifications and experience:

• Chartered Member of the RTPI
• Demonstrable experience within the planning industry, working within a consultancy or local authority
• Experience of working on large scale infrastructure developments
• Proven track record of mentoring staff

Duties:

• Taking up the role of project lead on a variety of projects across the North of England
• Managing and mentoring junior members of the team
• Actively contribute to the further growth of the team and workload
• Preparing and submitting applications and appeals
• Attending client meetings and planning committees
