Job Title: Senior Town PlannerLocation: Macclesfield Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting an established and highly regarded independent planning consultancy in their search for a Chartered Senior Town Planner to join their growing team.This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced planner looking to take the next step in their career within a consultancy that works across a broad range of planning projects for private and public sector clients.The RoleAs a Chartered Town Planner, you will be involved in a varied portfolio of planning projects, providing professional planning advice and managing projects from inception through to completion.Your responsibilities will include:Managing a range of planning applications and projects Providing strategic planning advice to clients Preparing and submitting planning applications Undertaking planning research and policy analysis Liaising with local planning authorities and other stakeholders Attending client and stakeholder meetings Supporting business development and maintaining strong client relationships Working alongside colleagues and external consultants to deliver successful projectsAbout YouThe successful candidate will ideally have:MRTPI Chartered status - essential Strong experience within UK town planning Previous consultancy experience A good understanding of the UK planning system and relevant legislation Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong project management and organisational ..... full job details .....
