Senior Town Planner Manchester Private Sector Hybrid working Carrington West are currently working with a highly regarded planning consultancy that is looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner to join its growing Manchester team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious planner to take on greater responsibility, work on a diverse portfolio of projects and progress their career within an established and supportive business. As a Senior Town Planner, you will play a key role in delivering planning advice and managing a varied caseload across a range of development sectors. Your responsibilities will include: Managing and progressing a varied portfolio of planning projects. Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals. Providing strategic planning advice to clients. Undertaking planning research and policy assessments. Liaising with local planning authorities, clients, consultants and other stakeholders. Supporting the preparation of planning strategies for complex development proposals. Managing project deadlines, budgets and client expectations. Supporting and mentoring junior members of the planning team. Contributing to business development and maintaining strong client relationships. We are looking for an experienced planner who is commercially aware, client-focused and keen to take the next step in their career.
