Senior Town Planner Location: Cardiff Employment: Permanent Working Pattern: Full-time, 5 days per weekWe are currently working with an established and highly regarded town planning and development consultancy in Cardiff who are looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner on a permanent basis.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced planner to join a growing consultancy working across a diverse portfolio of development projects throughout Wales and the wider UK.The business provides commercially focused planning and development advice across a broad range of sectors, including residential, commercial, leisure, tourism, heritage and strategic development. Their work ranges from planning applications and appeals through to major development projects, regeneration schemes, policy work and complex multi-disciplinary projects.The Role As a Senior Town Planner, you will take responsibility for managing a varied caseload of planning projects, working closely with clients, local planning authorities and other professional consultants. Your responsibilities will include: Managing planning applications and projects from inception through to determination. Preparing and reviewing planning statements, reports, representations and other planning documentation. Advising on planning policy and development opportunities.
