Planning Consultant
Shrewsbury / Wolverhampton | Full-time | Office-based

We''re currently recruiting on behalf of a growing multidisciplinary business for an experienced Planning Consultant to join its team, working across its Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton offices.

This is an excellent opportunity for a planning professional looking to develop their career within an established and expanding business, working on a varied portfolio of planning and development projects.
 
As a Planning Consultant, you''ll work as part of a multidisciplinary in-house team, providing planning advice and supporting the preparation and delivery of planning applications for a diverse client base.

You''ll collaborate closely with colleagues across the business, as well as architects, technical specialists, Local Planning Authority officers and other external stakeholders.
The role offers a varied workload, with a particular focus on supporting the business''s expanding residential and commercial teams across a range of development and planning projects.

About You
We''re looking for a motivated and commercially aware planning professional with approximately 3-6 years'' experience gained within either the public or private sector. Experience across both environments would be advantageous.

You''ll ideally be RTPI-qualified or working towards full membership, with a genuine interest in developing your technical and professional experience.
·Full-time, permanent position
·40 hours per week
·Office-based, working from either the Shrewsbury or Wolverhampton office

Requirements
·Approximately 3-6 years'' planning experience
·Experience within the public or private sector; ideally both
·RTPI-qualified or working towards full membership
·Strong written and verbal communication skills
·Good organisational and project management abilities
·A proactive approach with the ability to work collaboratively
·Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
