Senior Test EngineerBasildon6-month contractPaying up to 60p/h (Inside IR35) Please note - Due to the nature of the work, you''ll be required to hold or be eligible to obtain a high level of UK Security Clearance (SC Clearance) Overview: As a Senior Test Engineer, you will support the design, development, and ongoing support of electro-optical test equipment and test processes for a range of Precision Guidance products - from early development through to production. Responsibilities:Interpreting product-level test requirements to support the definition and implementation of test strategies and systemsSupporting the design and commissioning of test systems used in development and productionParticipating in the integration, verification, and validation of test solutionsPerforming hands-on laboratory testing and measurement using electro-optical instrumentationWriting and reviewing technical documentation including test procedures and user instructionsWorking closely with cross-disciplinary teams (hardware, software, optical and systems engineers) to ensure successful product and test system delivery Essential Skills and ExperienceHND or higher qualification in System, Electrical, Electronic, or related engineering disciplineExperience in one or more of the following areas: Electrical testing, Electro-optics, Environmental testing, acoustic testingPractical experience with lab-based testing, diagnostics, and measurementGood understanding of test instrumentation and data ..... full job details .....
