Senior Test Analyst (Automation)

Role: Senior Test Analyst Work location: Telford, UK (2 Days weekly) Job type: Full Time Mandatory: SC eligible. Senior Test Analyst (SC eligible.) with -10 years of experience in QA/testing. ISTQB/ISEB certified with strong expertise in manual + automation testing. Experience in public sector - HMRC preferable Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills. SAP/Pega/Datawarehouse experience Preferable Core Testing Expertise Functional Testing: System, SIT, GUI, UAT, exploratory, compatibility. Strong experience in: Test design, execution andamp; defect management Requirement analysis andamp; stakeholder collaboration Defect triage andamp; reporting Automation andamp; Technical Skills Automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, Cucumber (BDD) API testing: SOAP UI, Postman, JMeter CI/CD andamp; DevOps tools: Jenkins, Git, GitLab Working knowledge of: Java, SQL, XML, JSON AWS cloud environments Test Management andamp; Tools Tools: JIRA, Xray, Zephyr, ADO, Excel, Confluence. Strong in: Test planning andamp; strategy Writing test cases/scenarios Reporting andamp; documentation Methodologies Experience across: Agile (Scrum), Waterfall, V-Model Active participation in: Daily stand-ups Sprint cycles Defect triage andamp; release planning Leadership andamp; Soft Skills Experience leading QA teams and mentoring juniors.
