Have you got experience as a temporary works engineer in the water industry and are now looking for a role where you can progress your career within a world class engineering consultancy? We are working with a blue-chip firm who have an opportunity for a senior temporary works engineer in their London office. You will join a dynamic team of engineers and designers based in a thriving part of London. Their projects include diverse schemes in London as well as international schemes. Reporting to the Lead Engineer, you will have a strong background in managing temporary works projects, providing expertise across a wide range of engineering tasks. Strong communication is vital as the role will see you leading projects independently and collaborating with various teams. Main responsibilities (not limited to):Manage projects and oversee teamLead temporary works design for projects such as retaining walls, basements, mobile crane assessments, tower crane and hoist bases, propping, piling platforms and haul roadsReview structural engineering analysis and ensure compliance with design Standards and CodesWork collaboratively with colleagues and external teamsExperience of working on Network Rail sites would be an advantage The role requires candidates who have at least 4 years relevant experience, who are either Chartered or working towards Chartership.
