Senior Telecommunications Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Senior Telecommunications Engineer to join our technical team, providing advanced support for our data center and telecom infrastructure services. This is a critical role that involves the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise-level network systems for a variety of clients.

You will lead technical projects, manage complex network configurations, and provide strategic input on infrastructure improvements. This position is ideal for professionals with deep hands-on experience and a passion for delivering high-performance, reliable telecommunications solutions.

Requirements

Design, install, and configure telecom and network systems, including routers, switches, servers, and VoIP devicesInstall and maintain operating systems, antivirus software, and other enterprise applicationsDiagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network faults efficientlyProvide both on-site and remote technical support to clients, ensuring minimal downtimePerform structured cabling and rack installations in data centers and telecom environmentsManage server backups and ensure data recovery processes are in placeMaintain up-to-date hardware and software inventoriesDocument installation procedures, network configurations, and maintenance activitiesLead or support infrastructure upgrade projects and system migrationsProvide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers as neededRequired Skills and ExperienceMinimum 5 years of experience in telecommunications or network engineeringProven expertise in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment (Cisco, Juniper, etc.)Strong understanding of data center operations, structured cabling, and system maintenanceFamiliarity with diagnostic tools such as OTDR, cable testers, and network analyzersHands-on experience with operating systems (Windows/Linux) and virtualization platformsRelevant certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or BICSI preferredStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and client-facing skillsEducationBachelor''s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Networks, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)About the Company
