Senior TechOps Support Specialist

TechOps Support specialists are the friendly first point of contact, fixing technical problems, setting up devices, or providing quick answers with a positive and empathetic experience. We contribute to reliability and excellence that enables the whole company to thrive.Responsibilities

Support Monzonauts, in person at our offices or remotely.Lead computer onboarding sessions for new Monzonauts.Act as an escalation point for complex incidents, with clear communication and fast resolution.Own technical standards for device management and SaaS administration, ensuring quality, scalability, and compliance.Shape proposals and influence our approach to security, tooling, and onboarding at scale.Mentor and guide TechOps specialists, sharing knowledge and best practices.Research and introduce new technologies and processes to improve Monzo’s way of working.Balance hands-on technical work with strategic initiatives that drive tools, practices, and services forward.Demonstrate deep experience managing macOS and SaaS platforms at scale (e.g., Slack, Okta, Google Workspace, Notion, Jamf MDM).Lead large projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.Experience running incident response and post-incident reviews.Mentor and coach others, raising the team’s standards.Research and introduce new technologies to solve cross-functional problems.Deliver improvements in scalability and resilience for internal IT environments.Be available to join our out-of-hours on-call rota (additional compensation applies).Qualifications and nice-to-haves

Deep experience with macOS and SaaS platforms at scale and related tools (Slack, Okta, Google Workspace, Notion, Jamf MDM).Ability to lead large projects and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.Experience with incident response and post-incident reviews.Ability to mentor others and raise team standards.Ability to research and introduce new technologies to solve complex problems.Track record of delivering improvements in scalability and resilience for internal IT environments.Willingness to join the on-call rota outside business hours (with compensation).Familiarity with compliance and security standards for SaaS and endpoint management (nice to have).Experience automating common tasks with code, APIs, or scripting languages (nice to have).What’s in it for you

£57,000 - £70,000 salary plus share options. This role is based in London; you’ll be expected to work from the London office at least 4 days a week, with option to work from home as needed.
